Consider this post a little NUDGE. We need more GOP candidates! Tuesday, February 15th is the first day to start circulating nomination petitions. This is the time to step up and consider running for office. We have to build our party from the ground up. If you want to see real, positive change in local politics, be that change. Throw your hat in the ring. This is crunch time, folks. We need candidates. We need to make sure there are Republicans running in every race. If you can't run, then do what we're doing in this post. Nudge someone. Get out there and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Something absolutely stunning is happening in Massachusetts.
Revolution is afoot.
The special election to fill Ted Kennedy's seat, a seat the Democrats clearly thought was a slam-dunk "sure thing," is on the verge of going to Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown.

Pain at the Pump...
Folks, I don't know about you...but I'm tired of watching my paycheck fritter away with each hike in gas prices. I wince every time I get heating oil. I grimace whenever the air conditioner kicks on.
Energy isn't cheap, and it gets more expensive with each passing day.
I thought it might be useful to post a little something on how Republicans and Democrats approach solving the current energy crisis...and make no mistake, it's a crisis.
Republican Solutions:

More drilling...

More refineries...

Promote Coal...

...and Nuclear Power...

...and Renewable Energy, like Wind...

...and Solar Power!
The Democrat's Solutions:

Raise Taxes...

Lower Thermostats...

Put on a 'Carter Cardigan'...

...and everything will be just fine!
Let's face it folks...when it comes to solving our energy crisis the Democrats are...

...OUT OF GAS!
DUTIES OF A REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE MEMBER

· Deliver Absentee Ballots to voters.
· Canvass with candidates.
· Distribute campaign material before an election.
· Make get-out-the-vote phone calls.
