6th District Republican Committee - Luzerne County, PA

Dear Republicans and Friends

Sunday, May 4th, Voice of the People USA will be holding an anti-illegal immigration and pro-free speech rally at noon.

We will be in the Cee Kay Auto parking lot in Wilkes-Barre (501 S. Main Street).

We are having it there because Wilkes-Barre wanted to charge us $200 to have it on Public Square.

(Editor's Note from Jimbo: Paying to rally for free speech on Public Square is an outrage. I wonder how this would have gone over in Boston in the 1770's??)

Rule VII of the Luzerne County Republican By-Laws

...A convention shall be held by the Committee People of each Legislative District after the Spring Primary in the even numbered years for the purpose of electing a District Chairman. Notice of the Convention shall be given to all committee people of that District at least ten (10) days prior to the District Convention by First Class Mail.

Committee People must present their certificate of election at the Convention!

Committee person may be represented at any convention by proxy. Proxy holders must be a qualified Republican elector of the same ward, precinct and district.

Proper credentials must be presented. Proper credentials consist of the certificate of election and the official Luzerne County proxy. Proxy holders must present BOTH. Proxy holders may be asked for ID.
