* Don't forget to bring creative homemade signs, cameras, camcorders, flags, balloons, and a car full of friends! * Please call into your local radio show station/host and tell them about the importance of attending this event. * Get the word out to as many people as you can. Inform your neighbors, co-workers, classmates, friends and relatives! * Please bring a can or two of food. After our May 27th event, we donated on your behalf 72 cans of food and a 50 pack of hot dogs with several rolls and buns to Ruth's Place Women's Homeless Shelter in Wilkes-Barre. We will donate the collected from this event once again, to a local charity.

Jon Hopcraft, Northeast PA Regional Field Director from the state GOP, is
coordinating a door-to-door campaign on Saturday, July 18.
Preliminary plans would have us meeting at GOP headquarters at 10 a.m., canvass for a few hours and return to headquarters for lunch.

It's Almost Tailgate Time!
The 6th District's Tailgate Party Committee will meet at GOP County Headquarters on Wednesday, July 22 at 6PM.
Planning will begin for the 6th District's 2nd Annual Tailgate Party, slated for Saturday, September 26, 2009.
Committee persons who want to volunteer for the tailgate committee are welcome to attend this meeting. Bring your ideas and tons of enthusiasm!
